Brief History:

This parish originated as a mission chapel under Mathiravila Church to serve scattered settlements. Local residents donated land, and the first Mass began on October 11, 1964. The congregation built an initial thatched structure, later replacing it with a permanent church in 1966. The community grew substantially, and the parish achieved independent status on May 1, 1986, with Fr. Dionysius as its first administrator. A new modern church building was consecrated in 1999, now serving 488 families.
