Brief History:
Belgian nuns Mary Delphine and Mary Alphonse arrived in October 1916 to establish tailoring classes and literacy programs. Sister Mary Amine joined in 1917, dedicating herself to serving the sick and poor. The church was formally inaugurated on September 30, 1930 and elevated to parish status in 1931. The parish has grown from a thatched hut to a modern structure with a 108-foot tower rebuilt in 2024, now serving 700 families and serving as a centre for interfaith harmony and social development in Kulasekharam.
