Brief History:
The parish was established overnight on June 23, 1968, with a palm-leaf structure by the efforts of Fr. Joseph and local resident Reginam. Initially constructed from palm fronds, the chapel was later rebuilt with bricks and clay tiles into a small church. The congregation continues to serve 78 Catholic families under the guidance of successive priests, operating as a branch of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Alanvilai.
