Brief History:
The Sirayankuzi community initially functioned as an outstation of Kanchiragudy parish. A small chapel dedicated to St. Michael was constructed, with Friday masses conducted regularly. Due to distance from the main church and the growing congregation, parishioners requested a dedicated facility. The chapel was expanded with an asbestos roof structure. Following increased membership and spatial constraints, a new church building was commissioned and consecrated on September 17, 2017. The church is situated on the Nagercoil-Thiruvananthapuram highway, serving around 155 families.
