Brief History:

Emerging from a small community of approximately fifteen families, this chapel evolved significantly after the Murugathas family embraced Christianity in 2002. What began as a desire to establish a prayer centre transformed into a full church construction project. The beautiful sanctuary was completed and consecrated on September 8, 2019 by the diocesan bishop. The congregation expanded to include fifty-eight families by the dedication ceremony, with miracles attributed to the Virgin Mary drawing devotees from various faith backgrounds. The church serves four prayer associations and maintains a burial ground on seven cents of land.
