Parish Priest – Rev. Fr. S. John Milton (MSFS).
Church Established – 1950 (consecrated 2005).

Brief History:

The congregation was established around 1950 in Upper Vallampatti with a simple hut structure. After deterioration, a mud-brick building was constructed (1958-1960), but social challenges necessitated relocating worship to public spaces. In 1999-2000, a 21-cent plot was acquired. When Othaiyaal became an independent parish, Vallampatti transitioned to branch status. Construction began in 2000-2001 under Rev. Fr. James Anandaraj MSFS and was completed by 2005 under Rev. Fr. Nicholas MSFS. The church was consecrated on July 10, 2005, by then-Archbishop Peter Fernando. Later enhancements included decorative chariots (2008), fencing and plantings (2009), entrance gate (2020), altar modifications (2021-2022), and a bell installation (2023). The church serves 35 families and celebrates the Christ the King Festival on the last Sunday of November.
