This branch church is situated approximately 2 kilometres from Thiruvatteri on the Marthandam–Pechupparai road and serves as an offshoot of St. Susaiappar Malankara Catholic Church, Maathar. The parish serves approximately 75 families with Sunday Mass at 9:00 AM and Tuesday evening novena prayers to Our Lady of Velankanni.
