Brief History:
This Malankara Catholic parish serves the Maathar community in southern Tamil Nadu under the Diocese of Marthandam. The church is situated approximately one kilometre from Thiruvattar bus station along the Marthandam–Kulasekharam route and maintains a branch church dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Saaru.
