Brief History:

St. Vincent de Paul Malankara Catholic Church at Kulappara was established as a quasi-parish in the Panachthodu Deanery of the Marthandam Diocese. The congregation began in 2008 when 20 Catholic families sought their own place of worship. Initial Masses were held at the Pulivanath Masik School. Under Fr. Bennett’s leadership (2013-2016), a new church site was acquired. Bishop Vincent Mar Paulose laid the cornerstone on April 16, 2014, and the church was consecrated on May 4, 2017. A Marian shrine was later added to the church premises. The church serves 20 families. The feast of St. Vincent de Paul is celebrated on September 27.
