Brief History:

The original chapel was consecrated on November 8, 1996, as a branch of St. Sebastian Church, Sadayampalayam. On August 26, 2012, the parish was formally separated and established as an independent parish under the Salem Diocese by Bishop Most Rev. Aruselvam Rayappan. A new chapel was built and blessed on October 16, 2022. Plans are currently underway for expanded church construction. The parish serves 200 Catholic families with 9 convents of religious sisters. The feast is celebrated on the second Sunday of October in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary. Located 60 km from Salem via Sangamithri, on the route Tiruchengode – Pallipalayam – B. Kumarapalayam.
