Brief History:
The Christian community in
Sadayampalayam
traces its roots to the 1700s when palm workers migrated to the region. A formal administrative center was established in 1846 and the parish was officially constituted in May 1970 after decades of serving as a mission station. The current church building was constructed in 1968 and underwent complete reconstruction in 2017-2018, being consecrated on November 14, 2018. The parish currently serves 444 families and operates an RC Primary School, medical services, and community hall. The parish belongs to the
Salem Diocese.
