Brief History:

Saint Sebastian Church in Koothathupatty was founded in 1970 by Rev. Fr. G. Moviyel to serve the local Christian community. It was established as an independent parish in 2011 under Bishop C. Singarayyan’s administration and entrusted to the HGN society. The parish serves 125 families and has a Sister Parish – Holy Fatima Mother Church, Pallathadanoor. The church has vibrant parish organizations including a parish council, youth group, altar servers, choir, and a convent of St. Praxedes Sisters. The feast of Saint Sebastian is celebrated in May.
