Brief History:

This parish was established when Fr. Thomas Veettuvelickunnel built a small chapel on a rock in 1962 with permission from landowner Mr. Ponnumuthu Vaidya. The first baptism was administered on July 3, 1962. The stone structure church was constructed subsequently, and the parish was elevated to independent status later. The current multi-storey building was constructed during Fr. Jose Muttathuppadan’s tenure. The parish serves approximately 170 families organised into eight associations.
