Brief History:

Established approximately 60 years ago as a mud-walled structure with thatched roof, later upgraded to brick walls with tile roofing. The church evolved from a simple cottage into a beautiful shrine through community dedication. The current structure was consecrated on January 2, 1991, with the Eucharist established in 2004. The church serves 21 families. Parishioners report receiving blessings including healing, fertility, and employment opportunities. The feast is celebrated in May (first Sunday) with flag hoisting and a 10-day celebration. Additional observances include January 2 (church consecration anniversary) and September 8 (Our Lady of Velankanni feast).
