Holy Martyr Centurion (Santhiyakkappar) Church at Puthuppatti is a branch parish under Holy Martyr Centurion Church, Malayadipatti, in the Manapparai Deanery of the Trichy Diocese. The church serves a Christian-majority village that has followed the Christian faith for an extended period. The original structure was established approximately in 1925. The church underwent significant deterioration and a foundation stone for rebuilding was laid on May 16, 2022. A bell tower was constructed and consecrated in 2008, and a St. Centurion cross was blessed in 2011. The parish serves approximately 320 families. The feast of St. Centurion is celebrated during the Tamil month of Adi (July-August), and the feast of St. Anthony is observed in January.
