Brief History:

Holy Periyanaayaki Mother Church at Periya Tambi Udaiyaan Patti is a branch church under Holy Synaxis Church, Ravusaapatti, in the Keeranur Deanery of the Trichy Diocese. A tile-roofed church was constructed several centuries ago in this village, dedicated to the Holy Mother. It later served under different parish administrations before the current structure was consecrated on February 24, 2008. The parish serves approximately 160 families and 5 religious communities. The feast is celebrated on the eighth day after Easter.
