Brief History:
Before 2000, the Catholic residents of Idaiyankulum traveled to Erukkalaipatti for worship and pastoral care. In 1998, Rev. Fr. Jerosin initiated the construction of a local chapel after receiving land donated by Mr. Raja Fernando. The church was completed and consecrated in 2000, providing the village with its own place of worship. Dedicated to Our Lady of Good Health, the church now serves five Catholic families as a branch of Holy Rosary Mother Church, North Meenavankulam. It is located along the Kalakkad–Cheranmahadevi road near Idaiyankulum.
