Brief History:
This branch church is attached to Assumption of Mary Church, Thoopuvilai, and is situated on the banks of the Thamirabharani River in the small village of Madanagar. The congregation of 115 families with 3 convents maintains regular morning and evening rosary prayers and holds two days of Mass monthly. The church can be reached via Nagercoil – Tisaiyanvilai – River Bank Mosque route.
