Brief History:
St. Xavier Church serves as a branch chapel affiliated with the Holy Apostle Theophilus Shrine, Thiruvaikuntam, providing spiritual care to a small Catholic community of 3 families in the rural Athalikulum region of Tuticorin diocese. The church is situated on the Tirunelveli-Tiruchchendur road in the Thiruvaikuntam area. Mass is celebrated in the evening twice monthly, and the feast of St. Xavier is celebrated for 3 days on December 3rd.
