Brief History:
Tilki was a sub-station of Belatanr until 1976 when Fr. Stanislaus Murmu TOR went there as Parish Priest. Fr. John Hembrom was the first diocesan priest in Tilkimoron. A new church and convent of Holy Cross Sisters were built by Fr. Jacob Thekkeparampil and blessed on 22nd October 1998. With the kind favour of Babulal Marandi one Chief Minister of Ranchi, Jharkhand, there is a pucca road all the way from Tisri to Tilki. The bridge near the mission is under construction. Number of Catholics 800; families 150; villages 23.
