Brief History:
Although a vibrant Christian Community existed at Avadi, the Parish was created only in 1944. Fr. D Balasamy built the present spacious Church, in the year 2000. A separate chapel was also built, adjacent to the Church. A piece of land was bought in 2001and a Grotto was built. Counseling centre for managing the family problems, an information centre and a marriage information bureau are being run by this Parish.
