Brief History:

This Parish was bifurcated from KG Kandigai and erected in the year 1976. This is a Mission Parish started by Fr Parampet. It was under OMI Priests Rev Fr Arulraj and Rev Fr Gerard Francis for 18 years. This is the birth place of DMI and SDM Congregations. The Church of Annai Velanganni at Pallipet was built by Rev Fr Charles and the Churches of Sacred Heart of Jesus at Keelapoody and Our Lady of Good Health at Keechalam was built during the time of Rev Fr Louis Mathias
