Brief History:

Fatima Nagar is situated in the southern part of Thoothukudi city on a sandy mound. When it was part of the Cathedral parish, Frs. Paul Alangaram and Sebastian helped people in this area in their piety and spiritual endeavors. Then it became a substation of St. Antony’s parish, Thoothukudi. On the 14 th of June 1984 , it was bifurcated from St. Antony’s and made as an independent parish.
