Brief History:
This congregation was established as a branch parish under Puthankathai, initially with about 30 Christian families from the surrounding Aramnam region. A thatched hut was constructed with land purchased in 1972, and a picture of Saint Thomas was installed. The parish later transitioned to Colvel jurisdiction in 1973 and eventually became affiliated with Nagakoyil parish in 1995. The current stone church was consecrated on July 3, 2019 by Bishop Jerome Das, following decades of community-driven development.
