Brief History:

This parish community was established in 1929, the same year St. John Bosco received canonisation, making it the first church in India dedicated to St. John Bosco. The faithful began worshipping at a makeshift chapel with a cross, and later the structure evolved through various phases from palm thatch to tiled to brick construction. The current church building was consecrated on January 31, 2000 by the bishop. Notable features include a statue of Our Lady of Fatima imported from Spain and a library dedicated to St. John Bosco. The parish serves 164 families.
