Brief History:
Kaaththaanpallam emerged as a Christian settlement approximately one kilometer south of Elathakiri. Christians from various regions settled here after 1820 AD. The community grew through intermarriage, eventually comprising approximately 150 families from various occupational backgrounds. The church was consecrated on February 13, 1999, by Bishop Joseph Anthony Iruthayaraj. It became an independent parish in May 2017 under Bishop Lawrence Pius. The church serves 180 families. The feast is celebrated on the first Sunday of May.
