Brief History:
Holy Health Mother Mountain Shrine at Ammasathram is a pilgrimage site established in 1983 when a devotee placed a statue of the Mother at this forested hilltop following a divine vision. Local children subsequently reported seeing the Mother, confirming the sacred significance of the location. The shrine serves approximately 165 families and attracts pilgrims from multiple states seeking healing and spiritual grace. It has eight affiliated branch sanctuaries in surrounding villages including Kaverinakar, Sanniyapatti, and Pommadi Hill. The feast is celebrated in August featuring processions and community meal distribution. Full moon nights feature overnight vigils.
