Brief History:

Christ the King Church, Irutayapuram, was established in 1945 as a branch chapel of Siluvaipuram parish with approximately 25 families worshipping in a thatched hut. A tiled structure was constructed in 1947 and dedicated to Christ the King. The associated school transitioned from primary to secondary status by 1956 and later to a higher secondary institution by 1980. The parish now serves approximately 284 families with active youth movements, children’s programmes, and religious education.
