Brief History:

Holy Anthony Church, Manjaalumoodu, was established in 1938 beginning with a small congregation of 13 members who gathered in an evening shop space. Land was subsequently purchased and a palm-leaf structure built for worship. Fathers Vencilaus and Arulapan gradually expanded the congregation, and by 1984 Fr. Palmack completed construction of the church building which was consecrated by the Bishop. Sunday services commenced in 2006. The parish is a branch of Our Lady of Lourdes, Lourdukiri, serving approximately 60 families.
