Brief History:

Established approximately 150 years ago, this modest chapel initially received priestly visits from the parent church at Mulagumoo??, with clergy travelling by horse cart. The community faced severe cholera outbreaks that devastated families and prompted migrations. Following reported miraculous recoveries attributed to St. Sebastian intercession, locals instituted an annual commemorative procession carrying the saint statue through the village while singing devotional hymns, a tradition that continues today. The chapel serves 25 families as a dependent chapel under Holy Mother of Snow Church, Pattarvilayi.
