Brief History:

Holy Susaiappar Church, Susaiapuram, grew from the missionary work of religious sisters from Mulakamoodu parish who visited families in the area after 1950 and brought several families into the Christian faith. A palm-leaf structure served as the first chapel in 1962, replaced by a permanent building in 1965. The parish serves as a branch of Holy Immaculate Mother Church, Vellicode, and today serves approximately 140 families.
