Brief History:

Originally established as a mission station under Athur Parish to serve migrant agricultural laborers from various regions, the parish was formally established in 1965. A new church building was constructed in 1989. The church was renovated in 2021. The Holy Anna Convent with three sisters operates a welfare center offering natural and homeopathic medicine services. The church serves 54 Catholic families with 6 religious sisters and celebrates its feast during the first week of May. Previous parish priests include Rev. Fr. T. Joseph Lazarus (1965-1969) and Rev. Fr. S.M. Arunsamy (1969-1984).
