Brief History:

This parish was originally established in 1988 under Rev. Fr. Peter Child. A small chapel was constructed in 1999 and dedicated on September 8. The foundation for the current permanent structure was laid in 2002, with construction completed and consecrated in 2005. The settlement was named Marianusnakar after Bishop Marianusamy, who provided financial assistance for its development. On July 13, 2018, the parish was elevated to independent status, with Rev. Fr. Sebastian Jerome as the first parish priest. The church serves 210 families in a peaceful, green environment and celebrates its feast from August 30 to September 9 (11 days).
