Brief History:

The church was constructed approximately 80 years ago using limestone while serving as a chapel under Sundaranachiyarpur Parish. It was renovated in 1986 and elevated to independent parish status on July 31, 2017. The church features a Shrine of Our Lady Who Unties Knots, consecrated on February 12, 2018. The parish serves 132 families and maintains subsidiary chapels at Our Lady of Velankanni Chapel in Desikapur and Murambu. The feast of Saint Ignatius is celebrated on July 31.
