Brief History:

This rural church was established in 2007 at the request of local Christian residents, with the initial land acquisition occurring in 2006 under Fr. John Kennedy’s leadership. During Fr. Francis Asaithambi’s tenure, a dedicated structure was constructed and consecrated on August 29, 2007, by former Salem Bishop Dr. C. Singarayan. The parish serves 20 families as a branch of St. Cecilia Church, RC Pattappalayam. The church is located along the Namakkal-Mohanur route and the feast is celebrated on August 29 each year.
