Brief History:
St. Michael the Archangel Church in Kummangulam is a branch parish of Our Lady of Miracles Church, Alangudi, serving approximately 300 Catholic families in the Tanjore Diocese. The church is situated about two kilometres from the Pudukkottai–Alangudi main road via Manipallam. All liturgical services are celebrated in Tamil, and the parish feast in honour of St. Michael the Archangel is celebrated annually in September.
