Brief History:

Holy Health Mother Church at Nochimedu, Hridayapuram is a branch church under Holy Lourdes Mother Church, Manappare, in the Trichy Diocese. The church originated following severe flooding in 1977 that devastated the region. Local priests and Gabriel Society brothers facilitated reconstruction efforts for the community. A small cross shrine was later converted into a chapel, with the altar installed by Rev. Joseph. The current church structure was constructed beginning November 26, 2021, and was consecrated on May 29, 2022. The parish serves 150 families and 5 convents. The feast is celebrated on the second Saturday and Sunday of May. The church is located on the Manappare-Dindigul highway near the bypass junction.
