Brief History:
This Church was bifurcated from St Thomas Mount, and made as a separate parish in the year 1975. A new church was constructed and completed in the year 1978. Further extensions were made to this Church in the year 2001and 2003. A community hall was constructed in May 2005.
About the Church
The 43-year-old temple was originally a thatched hut. They have been replaced and now a beautiful temple has been built. A special feature of this department is that Junior Maria’s team has been formed here and is functioning well. Also songs are given high priority and special training classes are conducted.
It is a special event for the children to have a special song training and to sing the hymns for them on Sunday morning at 10.
Also, giving refreshments after the Sunday school classes and on December 27th Masilla children dedicate the whole day to the children and make the children dress up as the three kings and celebrate in a special way.
