Brief History:

This parish was established as a branch of the Kutaikkad parish in 1984. When Fr. George served as priest in Palliyadi, he identified several Catholic families in the area and constructed a small thatched chapel for them. Following the parish growth, the original structure was demolished and reconstructed, with completion in 2005 under Fr. Benjamin supervision. The church received consecration that same year, and in 2010 Kutaikkad Diocese elevated it to independent parish status under Bishop Peter Remigius. The parish serves 70 families with 4 sisters.
