Praise the Lord,
I don’t belong to this church, but by chance I attended the festival celebrations of St. Sebastian’s church, Ashokapuram last January.
Painfully let me share my thoughts. Film songs were sung ( Ganamela). only one 1st song was devotional. I felt very sad. Why people want to take satan (the vulgar songs)into the holy place. The whole compound of church should only be filled with God’s presence. But satan has taken that place too. God and St Sabastian would be very sad for your festival celebrations. Now a days saints (priests) who fight till death against satan are decreasing for the church. Let me proudly share the devotion of poor christians out side kerala as I lived there. They celebrate it with more devotion sharing with each other what they have. And God is happy with them and He will bless them abundantly.
