Brief History:

St. Amal Mother Church in Erode was founded on February 6, 1966, with the foundation stone laid by Rev. Msgr. Francis M. Savarimutt. The church has served the community for over 50 years and is one of the largest parishes in the region, serving approximately 2,517 families. The parish feast is celebrated in December each year. The church is known for its vibrant parish life with numerous devotional programs including novenas dedicated to St. Anthony, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, the Infant Jesus, Divine Mercy, and Our Lady of Vailankanni held throughout the week.
