Brief History:

Approximately 75 years ago, Jesus Society priests from Madurai worked in the Sathur area, converting surrounding populations. Catholic communities in Solaipatti previously worshipped in public spaces, traveling to nearby churches until this edifice was established. Church land was purchased in 2011, and the building was constructed and consecrated on August 11, 2012 by Rev. Fr. Jnanaprakasham, becoming the 11th branch parish of Ottaiyaal. The church features a St. Francis Xavier Shrine and a Holy Mother Sahayadevi Shrine. The parish serves 15 families and celebrates its feast during the second week of May.
