About the Church:

Nawatanr parish-constituted in 1949 with parts taken from Mandar and Dighia. The Brothers of St. Gabriel arrived in 1966 to run the High School for boys and girls. The arrival of St. Anne’s Sisters 1969 was a landmark in the Parish history. A Middle School for boys and girls is run by them.
