Brief History:

Bifurcated from Nanguneri parish Elangulam became an independent parish on the 16 th of September 1981with efforts taken by Fr. Siluvai Antony, the Vicar Forane of Vadakangulam and Fr. Arthur James. Fr. Antony Samy was appointed as the first parish priest.
